Conversation at Sleep Out

You can help end youth homelessness in Bristol by joining Sleep Out 2025 on Thursday 13 November at the Lloyds Amphitheatre. The event raises money for 1625 Independent People, a charity supporting young people who are homeless or at risk of losing their home. Bristol Charities backs this campaign because it tackles poverty and supports vulnerable people across our city.

Sleep Out funds safe accommodation, education and employment support, and mental health services for young people aged 16 to 25 who are facing homelessness across Bristol and the South West. Bristol is the third worst city in the UK for homelessness, with 1,300 people living in temporary accommodation right now. Last year, 1625 Independent People supported over 1,600 young people to rebuild their lives and find stable housing.

Sleep Out brings Bristol’s community together for a night that matters. You’ll hear directly from young people who’ve experienced homelessness and learn how your support changes lives. The evening includes live music from local artists, hot food and drinks from Bristol’s street food vendors, and a silent disco under the stars before you bed down for the night. You can take part on your own, with friends, or as a team.
