In a nutshell
We have been working for Bristol for 600 years. Today that means community hubs in the city’s forgotten postcodes, homes for older people, grants for households in poverty, and support for the charities working alongside us.
Our goal is sustainable change away from the life-limiting effects of deprivation and towards communities genuinely flourishing.
What that looks like
- Safe, spacious and comfortable homes for older people, across four almshouses in Henbury, Brentry, Stockwood and Monmouth
- Grants to households in poverty, from beds and cookers to educational grants for young people and funding for carers
- Affordable, accessible workspace and meeting rooms for 25 charities at the Vassall Centre
- Community hubs in Oldbury Court, Stockwood, and Henbury and Brentry
