Tuesdays from 12 noon-2.30pm @ Stockwood Children’s Centre

Our weekly food club distributes surplus food to those in need in Stockwood. We are looking for local people to join our Delivery Team, assisting with our food delivery from Fare Share. You’ll be unpacking the delivery and sorting and displaying it so that it all looks appetising and welcoming for our Food Club members. You will need to be happy with lifting and carrying & undertaking a short online training course in Food Hygiene.

Roles available on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis.

Wednesdays from 9am – 12 noon @ Stockwood Children’s Centre

Help us welcome members to our weekly Food Club, distributing surplus food to people in need in Stockwood. You’ll join a friendly team greeting club members, assisting them with groceries, re-stocking items and tidying up after the club. You will need to be happy with lifting and carrying & undertaking a short online training course in Food Hygiene.

Thursdays from 11am-2pm

Help us welcome people to Soup & Social: a drop in event for anybody in the local community to meet new people, enjoy a bowl of hot soup and access advice and support. We’re looking for volunteers to help us make and serve hot drinks, serve soup, engage people in conversation and help us set up & clear up.

Roles available on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis.

Tuesdays from 11am to 3pm

Support our weekly Lunch Club for older people in Oldbury Court. Help us to welcome guests, serve them a hot lunch, prepare drinks and clear away at the end. You might also have ideas for entertainment or activities for the group. This is a great opportunity to help us bring local people together in Oldbury Court.

This role is available on a weekly or fortnightly basis.

2 hours on either a Wednesdays or a Friday. Flexible times between 9am-5pm.

We are looking for two volunteers to join us at Vassall Community Hub to help us advertise our community events. Pop by our offices, print some posters and take a stroll through Fishponds to put them up! These roles will suit people who feel happy chatting with shop owners and going out and about in the local community – a great way to get to know the area and support our work. And you’ll be the first to know about our events too!
