Bristol Charities is proud to have signed Bristol’s Anti-Racism Statement, joining organisations across the city in a shared commitment to challenge racism in all its forms.

By signing, we stand alongside the Black South West Network (BSWN), SARI and others in the call “to take a stand against racism in all its forms, overt and structural, and to act with courage in the face of hate.”
As a charity rooted in Bristol’s communities, we are dedicated to promoting equity, inclusion, and respect – and to using our voice and actions to help build a fairer, more compassionate city for everyone.
“At Bristol Charities, we are united in our commitment to equity, inclusion, and justice. We stand with the Black South West Network in their call to take a stand against racism in all its forms, overt and structural, and to act with courage in the face of hate.
As leaders, we recognise the responsibility we share to challenge discrimination, to listen and learn from the experiences of others, and to use our influence to help build a fairer, more compassionate Bristol.”
— Andy Street, Chair, and Julian Mines, Chief Executive, Bristol Charities
We encourage organisations, community groups, and individuals across Bristol to join us by signing the Anti-Racism Statement and committing to action that drives real and lasting change.
