Circular ArtSpace, a not-for-profit Bristol art gallery dedicated to supporting emerging and under-represented artists, is delighted to announce that its upcoming Community Artists’ Fairs will be hosted at the Vassall Community Hub, Gill Avenue, Fishponds (BS16 2QQ).

These lively indoor arts and crafts markets celebrate local creativity, community, and sustainability, giving visitors the chance to explore unique handmade work from Bristol’s artists and makers. Entry is free, making the fairs open and accessible to everyone.

The first two Community Artists’ Fairs at the Vassall Community Hub are scheduled for:

  • Saturday 4 October 2025, 10:00am – 4:00pm (Autumn Edition)
  • Saturday 6 December 2025, 10:00am – 4:00pm (Christmas Edition)

A Platform for Local Artists & Makers

The Community Artists’ Fairs provide an inclusive, affordable space for artists, illustrators, and independent traders to showcase their work directly to the public. Visitors can expect:

  • Original artwork and illustration
  • Ceramics, textiles, prints, zines, and crafts
  • Handmade and upcycled fashion, jewellery, and accessories

Circular ArtSpace invites applications from artists and makers whose work reflects values of community, sustainability, and family-friendly creativity. Stallholders are asked to provide their own tables and chairs, with standard pitches (2m x 2m) available at an affordable £20 fee.

About Circular ArtSpace

Circular ArtSpace is a Bristol-based non-profit organisation curating affordable and accessible art exhibitions and events for local and international artists. Its physical gallery, uniquely housed in a converted double-decker bus behind the Crafty Egg Café in Fishponds (780 Fishponds Road, BS16 3TT), sits alongside exhibitions in Virtual Reality and the Metaverse, connecting Bristol artists with audiences across the UK and beyond.

Importantly, Circular ArtSpace takes no commission on artists’ sales, ensuring that makers retain 100% of their earnings.

“We are thrilled to bring the Community Artists’ Fairs to the Vassall Community Hub,” said a spokesperson for Circular ArtSpace. “This partnership strengthens our mission to provide inclusive, affordable platforms for local artists and makers, while inviting the community to discover, enjoy, and support Bristol’s creative talent.”

Zoe Williams, Manager of the Vassall Community Hub, added: “Hosting the Community Artists’ Fairs is a fantastic opportunity for our local community to showcase their artwork. We’re looking to have more art and arts activities here at the Vassall Community Hub and are excited to celebrate creativity right here in Oldbury Court and Fishponds.”
