For over six centuries, Bristol Charities has been a cornerstone of the community, providing support through quality almshouse accommodation, targeted grants, community infrastructure, and charitable workspace. With assets and expertise in property, housing, grants, and investment, we are uniquely placed to respond to Bristol’s pressing challenges, including poverty, housing need, educational inequality, and community resilience.

The organisation is embarking on an ambitious journey to transform the city through targeted community investments, innovative housing solutions, and pioneering charitable strategies. Our vision is clear: to collaborate and combat poverty in Bristol. We will achieve this by leveraging resources, experience, and networks to invest in Bristol’s people and places, fostering innovation and creating lasting social impact.
